What kind of printing is best suited for your beautiful handmade cotton rag paper?

Our handmade cotton rag paper has a unique texture and absorbency that really shines with letterpress, engraving, and digital offset printing. These methods complement the paper's natural beauty without overwhelming its subtle irregularities. We recommend avoiding overly flood-coated digital prints or heavy amounts of ink that might obscure the paper's charm. For best results, let's discuss your design and we can recommend the ideal printing technique.

Can I get a sample of the paper with a print test before I place a big order?

Absolutely! We understand the importance of seeing and feeling the paper with your specific design. We offer sample packs that include a printed swatch of your chosen paper with your artwork. This allows you to check color reproduction, ink opacity, and how the printing interacts with the paper's surface before committing to your full order. Please reach out to our customer service team to arrange for a custom swatch.

How do I prepare my artwork for printing on your handmade paper?

To ensure the best printing outcome, please provide your artwork in a high-resolution (at least 300 dpi) vector or raster format (such as AI, EPS, PDF, or high-quality JPG/PNG). Ensure that any text is outlined or converted to curves, and that colors are set in CMYK for full-color printing. If you're unsure about specific file requirements or have a particularly detailed design, don't hesitate to send us your artwork for a pre-flight check. We're here to help make sure your prints look stunning.
