Basil Seed - Plantable Handmade Paper and Envelopes

It’s a wonderfully simple process! Once you've finished using your beautiful handmade paper (for letters, cards, or invitations), simply tear it into small pieces and plant it in a pot with some soil. Keep the soil moist and place it in a sunny spot. Within a few weeks, you should start to see tiny basil sprouts! It’s a fantastic way to give your stationery a second life and reduce waste.

Absolutely! Our plantable paper is designed to be written on and printed with ease. It has a medium-rough texture and is 150gsm, making it feel substantial and luxurious for your messages. The basil seeds are embedded within the paper fibers, so they don't typically interfere with writing or printing. You might notice small bumps where the seeds are, but this adds to the unique charm of handmade, seeded stationery. We recommend using a standard inkjet printer and testing a single sheet first for best results.
