Add a little character to handwritten messages with our Chicken Lokta Paper Notecard Set. Each card features a wonderfully quirky collection of illustrated hens and chickens.
The bold black design looks striking against the warm, natural shade of the handmade paper. Different patterned birds give the design a playful, folk-art feel.
Each set contains five A6 folded cards and five matching envelopes. The cards are blank inside, giving you plenty of room for your own message.
The cards are made from traditional handmade Lokta paper. Its softly textured surface and visible natural fibres give every card an individual appearance.
Lokta paper is traditionally handmade in Nepal from fibres of the Lokta shrub. The plant regenerates after harvesting, providing a renewable source of papermaking fibre.
Each chicken design is screen printed in black onto the natural paper. The monochrome colour palette keeps the illustration contemporary while retaining its handmade character.
These handmade blank cards are suitable for birthdays, thank-you messages, congratulations and everyday correspondence. Their amusing chicken design also makes them perfect for sending a cheerful note.
The cards would make a lovely choice for chicken keepers and countryside lovers. They are equally appealing to anyone who enjoys unusual illustrated stationery.
Five coordinating handmade paper envelopes complete the set. The natural envelopes complement the cards without distracting from the distinctive black chicken illustrations.
With no printed greeting inside, these cards can be used throughout the year. Keep them nearby whenever you need a beautiful card for an unexpected occasion.
They also make a charming stationery gift for chicken lovers. Pair them with a favourite pen for a thoughtful present for someone who enjoys handwritten correspondence.
Traditional papermaking and playful illustration come together beautifully in this distinctive set. Each card offers a more individual alternative to mass-produced stationery.
Whether sending birthday wishes or a simple hello, these Chicken Lokta Paper Notecards make handwritten messages much more memorable.
